Elizabet's latest movie role was in "Blue Seduction" as Jan, Mikey's (Billy Zane) mother-in-law; before that as Karleen Trifthauser, Jane Clare's (Marlee Matlin) mother. She has worked on and appeared in other movies shot in the Maritimes. She was a stand-in for Jean Stapleton in "Baby," and for Judy Parfitt in "Dolores Claiborne."

She is a graduate of Dalhousie University's Theatre Department (B.A), and has an M.A.(Creative Writing) University of New Brunswick, Fredericton.

She was a journalist, worked for the CBC and various newspapers; has production experience in television and radio.

Elizabet has lived and worked in China and Saudi Arabia, has an understanding of the languages and culture in those countries.

She lives in Southern New Brunswick, near the Maine, U.S. Border, and part-time in Halifax.
